Donald Trump’s 1980 Cadillac Limo Up for Sale

Cadillac limousine built especially for Donald Trump in the 1980s has just arrived in the United Kingdom, may be for a potential sale.

The New York property mogul had two custom built limos in 1988 made for him by Cadillac.

Having a 5.0 litre vehicles, the other features of this vehicle were a fax machine, TV and video players, writing desks, a drinks cabinet, paper shredders, a built in safe, a pair of early NEC cell phones.

Trump, who will be sworn in as the US president on January 20th, had said that both limos were the most luxurious vehicles ever made, adding that he was very honored that Cadillac had built the first one for him.

Also Trump after getting those two Cadillac’s (Trump Golden Series and Trump Executive Series) had promised to order another 50 vehicles built, but that never happened.

In his book, The Art of the Deal, Trump said that a decision was made to go into production on two Cadillac-body limousines using his name.

Also in an interview with Limousine, Charter & Tour Magazine he said “we built one and we saw a lot of things we didn’t like. So we went back several times and this is what we produced.” The ultimate limousine design was made anywhere in the world, the kind of quality there is, had no match, he said.

Out of the two limousines, one is now in Gloucester rumored for a sale.

Media reports in the 1980s had suggested that both cars would fetch between $55,000 and $65,000 which is equal to more than $100,000 in today’s time.
